This Acceptable Use Policy governs your use of Home Software's messaging platform. By using Home, you agree to comply with this Policy and our Terms of Service.
1. Scope and Application
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of the Home messaging application and governs your conduct while using our Service. Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use Home for lawful purposes, including:

- ✓Sharing photos, videos, and other media content you have rights to share
- ✓Creating and participating in group conversations
- ✓Professional collaboration and team communication
- ✓Educational and informational exchanges
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not use Home to:
Illegal and Harmful Content
- ✗Engage in or promote illegal activities
- ✗Share content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights
- ✗Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- ✗Share content that exploits or harms minors
Harassment and Abuse
- ✗Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
- ✗Engage in hate speech or discrimination
- ✗Stalk or invade the privacy of others
- ✗Bully or engage in targeted harassment
Spam and Commercial Misuse
- ✗Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
- ✗Use automated systems or bots without authorization
- ✗Harvest or collect user information without consent
- ✗Engage in phishing or fraudulent schemes
Misrepresentation and Deception
- ✗Impersonate other individuals or organizations
- ✗Provide false or misleading information
- ✗Create fake accounts or engage in sockpuppeting
- ✗Spread misinformation or disinformation
System Interference
- ✗Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- ✗Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- ✗Circumvent security or authentication measures
- ✗Reverse engineer or decompile the application
4. Content Standards
All content shared through Home must be appropriate and lawful. You are responsible for the content you share and must ensure you have the right to share it. We do not pre-screen content but may remove content that violates this Policy.
5. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this Policy:
- •Report the content using the in-app reporting feature
- •Block the offending user to prevent further contact
- •Contact our support team at support@homesoftware.org
- •Provide screenshots or evidence when possible
6. Enforcement and Consequences
We take violations of this Policy seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may:
- 1.Warning: Issue a warning for first-time or minor violations
- 2.Content Removal: Remove violating content without notice
- 3.Temporary Suspension: Temporarily restrict account access
- 4.Permanent Ban: Permanently terminate the account
- 5.Legal Action: Report to law enforcement when required
7. Appeals Process
If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or content incorrectly removed, you may appeal the decision by contacting appeals@homesoftware.org with your account information and a detailed explanation. We will review appeals within 72 hours.
8. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
We cooperate with law enforcement authorities and comply with legal processes. We may disclose user information when required by law or to protect the safety of our users and the public.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Service. Your continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
